This year’s residential took us camping at Gidleigh Village Hall, with a walk up to the hall from Chagford, followed by a spag bol dinner cooked by the youngsters. We pitched up our tents, lit a campfire and stayed up chatting and playing manhunt ’til dark. The next morning we walked up to the beautiful Scorhill and went swimming (fully clothed!) in the rivers there. Thanks especially to volunteers Gina, Chris and John who made it what it was, and to the ever-wonderful Ellie.
