A group of 11 young people took part in the amazing challenge of walking from Gidleigh to Belstone, where they spent the night in the Village Hall. There they were granted hot chocolates and milkshakes from Master Coffee Company. They also watched a film on a big screen, played with Lego Robots courtesy of Immersion, and had pizzas, nuggets and chips for dinner.

The next day they were guided by Emma Cunis (Dartmoor’s Daughter) across the moorland of Belstone, in the wind and rain, and learnt all about the history of the area.
